Pros
- You’ll get to teach students that are very professional - decent hourly pay ($30), but does not make up for the truble.
Cons
- New teachers are only allowed 3 hours of work per week. - Be prepared to get stabbed in the back by your co-worker that has nothing better to do but to criticize all of your behaviour. - Be prepared to spend ton of extra hour UNPAID doing documentation and program planning. - Lot of turnover making students very unhappy and work relationship very hard to maintain - Be prepared to not have a supportive management that does not pay attention to your well-being and help you grow, they only care about minimizing problems, cutting cost. - Like sarcasm? Your manager will provide all of that, but who cares? It’s a part time job. You got better stuff to do.
