Never adequately staffed, management outside of the branches is incredibly disconnected and they do not trust or give any resources to the managers inside. The expectations are way higher than they should be given that the company pays well below industry averages while claiming that the benefits equate to the difference. They don't. Not when my environment is one of ridicule and disrespect. The best part of leaving Graybar but staying in the industry is finding out from customers, vendors, and ex employees that this level of toxic is company wide and not one person has had anything but warm things to say about my move.
