Worked with some amazing co-workers in many departments.

Many office's elected officials were openly racist, sexist, homophonic, and sometimes just straight up horrible human beings behind closed doors, with their other leadership employees there with them. Elected officials managing employees without experience or training in how to manage, including making hiring and firing decisions. Unethical hiring and promotion happening in several offices.

Good Pay and benefits. I would recommend working here if you want a stable job. This is a typical county government agency. Nothing out of the norm.

The public generally doesn't like government and can be a little bit hostile. Grant county also isn't the most exciting place to work but that comes with the territory of working government.
