Pros
Good benefits, paid training, decent salary.
Cons
Where to start? First off you will not make more than 60k while your're here and that is if you don't get fired in the first 8 months. If you are a national account manager you're expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week which you will not be compensated for overtime. The managers will mock you, yell at you, curse, and their way of motivating you is with fear of losing your job. They will use you for lead generation then fire you to keep the accounts for themselves. The top sales people were given big accounts and or got in early to Network Integration when it was possible to land accounts. You will be given a list of 500 leads and be expected to somehow make sales on those 500 leads even if the companies you are calling are have already said "NO! We are in a contract for the next 5 years" Granite will lie to you in the beginning during training claiming you will be making 200k plus in 2-3 years this is a lie if you look at the office everyone has been there 3-9 months because everyone else left or was fired. I worked from 7am-6pm everyday and called dried up leads in a saturated market. You are expected to call 100 people a day while prospecting you will hate this job if you get it. Listen, if you want a sales job please refrain from this company unless you are fresh out of college 22-24 years old. This, job, will, kill you! I quit the job for a better position because I was literally withering away. I watched an older guy next to me break down in tears due to being chewed out by the VP. Seek employment else where.
