- For Italian standards in Academia salaries are a bit above the average at the moment due to strong support from government funds. - Good infrastructures conditions.

- Lack of supportive and collective learning research environment - Old school ex-cathedral management practices in most departments - Non-accountability attitude - No self-evaluation, and zero interest on listening to problems - Lack of official documentation, and avoidance of email communication on important issues favoring verbal communications. This ends up on false commitments and no proof from the side of the employer to prove things.
