Pros

- staff is wonderful - management does help out on the floor - the best place to learn all the basics.

Cons

- low pay: The tip pool is split between curbside, the restaurant and banquets. Pay only averages from $15-22 an hour . - After the end of an event you have to completely reset for the next day . This includes moving heavy tables in out of the room and replacing table clothes. Tables are often completely reset at 12am. - roaches - you might get called off at the last minute. - director appreciates no one

Pros

A great company, pwith a management team willing to look out for the individual employees. You can't beat the benefits they give you. While the pay might be lower than some places, the benefits more than make up for it.

Cons

At times, the public we encounter can be trying. Because of that, the job can get very trying. Luckily once your day is over, you don't have to worry about it anymore. Also, since there are only a few managment/supervisor spots, it is extremly difficult to move up the ladder.
