Pros
Great people outside of the department. Culture is surface because not every department is held to its standards and some managers get a "free pass"
Cons
Department is micromanaged & mismanaged. Communication is lacking and makes it difficult to do daily work. A lot of time spent on personality/ feelings rather than decisions or policy making. Decisions were slow and not timely and bosses were hard to reach yet everything required approval from them.
