Pros
Co-workers are friendly, customers are generally nice people. The work keeps you busy and occupied, so the day goes by quickly. Nice starting salary. Good hours in the bakery. If you work well, you may get a $0.25 raise every 6 months or so.
Cons
Understaffed. Sometimes they would work one person alone in the bakery on a Saturday night and none of the managers would ever help. Poor management. Difficult to finish prep and stock the buffet by yourself. Always walking on eggshells with the GM, no matter what you do. I've had to work 12 hour shifts before without ever getting a break. Labor costs outweigh wellbeing of the restaurant--sometimes, when productivity levels are low, they cut a lot of hours and send people home early, which hurts everyone.
