Pros
Great place for you to take some time and learn. If you are a driven individual, you will be faced with a lot of issues that you will have the opportunity to tackle no matter what dept. you work in. "Somewhat" flexible schedule, really depends on who you are and what leverage you have. Gives you an opportunity to really take control of you career in regards to what way you can take it since there is quite a bit of down time Little turnover...depending on department
Cons
Management...management...MANAGEMENT! Like another review said. Mid management (some) holds the upper management together. Some really drags it down. Company has a very straight forward way of thinking. Not a tech type company so dont expect any treatment that a tech company would give. Higherups have already made it VERY CLEAR they do not approve of work from home virtually at all. CEO has his own agenda, wants the company to do well of course, but if he does not believe in it what is going on with in a department whether it be best practice or not, then it will virtually get shut down. Also, Lots of micro-managing. Moral is very low through every department and "Elite" talent is almost never hired because of price. Virtually no structure. even though it is like this for a lot of places, there are no set rules in what is to be done in certain circumstances. Can be mass chaos in situations where departments have to work together since "nothing is anyone's job". IT department sturggles to help their clients because of lack of leadership, along with a couple other departments. There also is a big divide between the WV office and MD office. There is way more but we all have lives to get back to.
