      Pros

      Excellent VA State government health and retirement benefits, work-life balance and a good place to work if you are getting a degree.

      Cons

      Low pay with no salary increases in the foreseeable future. Horrible management - no communication, feedback or mentoring. Promotions are rare, unless you are a pet.
