Pros
Job security and interesting work
Cons
Benefits, especially over the last couple of years have really eroded. If you are a younger employee, there is no incentive to stay - benefits are no better than most other places. And the "older", more seasoned employees have taken the biggest hit - sick time has been dramatically reduced and has cut into what was once vacation time. Medical deductibles are ridiculously high ($350 last year for single to $2000 this year). The parking issues are terrible and no one does anything about it and raise percentages have consistently gone down. Employees are also expected to work a minimum of five hours of free overtime.
