Caster - Caster Operator General Die Casters Employee Review

Worked at General Die Casters in the machining department for a little over a year. It’s a great Company to work for, all of the employees help one another on training and general duties. Everyone always seems to be happy. Management/ Supervisors are great, always time to interact with the employees. I’ve worked at a few manufacturing plants and this is by far the best. Very clean shop for the amount of work they do.

The biggest cons I have would like to have longer breaks.

If you work in the front office, the environment and people are great. The pay for a fresh-out-of-school job are great. CEO is really nice and will send you for classes and events.

Not much actual engineering work. Very dirty. Very hot. Upper management not open to new innovation and new ideas.
