Garrets is a proactive and modern company, that has taken considerable time and financial investment to understand what makes their employee's happy at work. There have been many incentives introduced in the last 12-24 months, not all are received with gratitude or recognition by some, however the general management continue to push in a positive direction. There is a very fair performance measured payment and bonus structure and this is reveiwed yearly to ensure expectations are aligned. The daily pace of life can be fast, and at times stressful, however there are measures in place that allow discussions regardless of position or role. Working from home is a concept that is operated in Garrets, this may become more frequent as systems become more digitalised allowing the employee to conduct the same level of work regardless of location. 25 paid holiday + PH, sick leave, healthy pension scheme, dental and medical cover scheme.......... it's a great place to work with an open mind, you must understand that Garrets is the leading "Shipping" provision supply management company in the world and this comes with a healthy rotation of resources, clients & opinions. It is disappointing to read some of the other negative reviews from previous employee's, that is not my experience and confirms that the employee's who wrote them may find better challenges out in the job market.
Cons
I would happily admit that Garrets is not perfect and the management do get things wrong on occasion, but as with any business that is trying to remain at the front of a challenging industry there is always a few blue sky ideas and regrettable decisions....................
