Pros
Decent pay comparable to the area and market, medical and dental benefits are above and beyond what you might find in a comparable market.
Cons
There are too many to name however the overall outlook of the company is negative. They did a round of layoffs at the beginning of July wherein they got rid of 49 people. Durin the layoffs they got rid of employees that were loyal and some that had worked for the company for 40 years; despicable. They cited financial difficulties, but managed to give nurses raises of 15-20%. Many non-union positions are understaffed and overworked. They failed to take any discernible action beyond getting rid of cell phone stipends and closing outpatient OBGYN to save money before laying people off. There are always alternate solutions but they seemed to fail at employing any other tactic.
