Cons

I will start this review by saying that this page used to have a lot more 1 star reviews. That was until upper management harassed former employees to remove them. I have thought about writing this review for years, but decided to act like the “bigger person” and move on with my life and my career after being wrongfully terminated from Game 7 2 years ago. However, over that last several months, it has grown difficult for me to sit idly by and watch a company destroy the lives of individuals I have grown close to. It is time to tell the story of the emotional torment that I, and several others experience while working here. Game 7 employees are overworked, underpaid, burnt out, and depressed. Whenever someone asked for help or grace from upper management, their answer was simply “work harder”. Not to mention that several managers pushed employees to go on adderall so they can cold call longer, even going as far as to give referrals to doctors who will prescribe the drug without an official diagnosis. Not to mention that cocaine and other hard drugs run rampant at company parties. The office even has a “cry room” for employees to use (just don’t go in there for too long or they’ll fire you for not working hard enough). Moreover, if employees complain about their low pay, they’re encouraged to work longer hours or take on a second job. Personally, if I was CEO/COO I would be ashamed that my employees were not making enough to survive. Several people Uber or work at restaurants to pay the bills, a full time job shouldn’t require you to do this. The company is failing and from what I hear, is on the brink of complete collapse. Whether it’s a lawsuit or bankruptcy, there is no way Game 7 survives the next few years. I remember the day I was terminated. The night before I had been at a company happy hour with a member of upper management. Throughout the night, she ripped apart a coworker whom I had grown close to. When I brought this toxic behavior up to HR, I was swiftly fired just hours later for “spreading gossip” in the office. There are several stories similar to this- if you call out Game 7 for any of their disgusting behavior you are immediately terminated. They claim “at-will employment” and say they can fire an employee for any reason they want, even without proof (I’m not lawyer but this sounds like bull). They do not care about employees and they sure won’t care about you if you decide to work there. They predominantly hire fresh college grads because they’re young and don’t know any better. All you’ll be is a warm body who they’ll pay $35,000 a year to make cold calls for 10 hours a day, and then fire if/when you choose to speak up or don’t hit their delusional quotas. My advice is to run far far away from Game 7, you will be better off (and make more) as a barista or bartender. You are worthy of a job that values you, your mental health, and will take the time to focus on your career. I understand the job market can be difficult, but you deserve better than Game 7 Staffing and you will find it!!

Pros

The agency secured me a good hourly rate

Cons

I didn't experience anything negative. The services provided are minimal, but that's typical of a staffing agency.
