Pros

Many of the production staff are good, hardworking people who make decent product.

Cons

Too much reliance on temps in production. Management team seems to think this is their little dictatorship because they are now the "owners" of the company. There is not an inclusive culture, many of the smarter office workers are working in fear of job loss constantly. The cost of health insurance is very high, and does not cover much. Salaries are lower than expected for this area, in all sections of the company outside of the management suite.

We are sorry that you feel this way. We have an open door policy and are more than happy to discuss your concerns. We are committed to making Gamber-Johnson a great place to work and have made a great many improvements to benefits since becoming a standalone company. Our confidential associate surveys show that the vast majority our team do not share your feelings. Since the buyout, Gamber has added an HSA option to health insurance, free childcare reimbursement, charitable donation matches, a mini-gym, more break room space, free Netflix or Hulu subscriptions and much more. Gamber strives to be as competitive as possible with wages and benefits. We monitor this closely every year. Bonuses have been paid at maximum levels for the past three years. We are growing steadily. Gamber is a great place to work and be part of a great team.
