Is this your company?

Pros

Employees were able to receive discounts on things like car rentals, concert tickets and cell phone packages (with exceptions). You were also able to accrue PTO as you worked.

Cons

There is absolutely no such thing as work-life balance at this company - unless you are a property manager or higher level executive. You have to work three out of the four weekends a month and make $10 an hour while you do it. My manager would leave early every day and leave me to handle the property alone for more than four hours. We were busy! I needed the help.

Gables Residential Response

Hello, We are sorry to hear that you felt as though the work load at Gables was unrealistically heavy. It is certainly our goal to work hard in order to take care of our residents but it is also our goal for our employees to have a healthy, balanced life outside of work. If you have any additional ideas on how we may be able to schedule our teams differently to better support our on site leasing professionals please email us directly at hr@gables.com. Thank you for your review, Gables Residential

Pros

Gables has been a great company to be a part of. I’m fortunate to work alongside an amazing group of peers and a supportive leader who provides both guidance and trust. Managing a luxury asset has been a rewarding experience that continues to challenge and grow my skillset.

Cons

One area for improvement would be clearer visibility into long-term career growth paths. While there are strong leaders and great opportunities to learn, a more defined roadmap for advancement would be helpful for those looking to take the next step in their careers.
