Pros

Company overall is a good place to work, but not under CISO

Cons

The CISO demonstrated significant leadership challenges. Their management style was rigidly traditional, lacking flexibility in accommodating modern work practices. Decision-making was often opaque, with key objectives formulated without team input. There were concerns about bias and potential discrimination in their approach. Communication lacked transparency and at times, honesty. The leadership style was not assertive in a constructive way, but rather created an environment where team members felt excluded and undervalued. Overall, this approach was misaligned with the company values that emphasize inclusivity, open communication, and collaborative decision-making

Pros

I'm a senior-level software engineer, previously worked at tech companies, and this job is relatively easy for me. No on-call, work-life balance is good. I usually get everything done within 2-week sprints.

Cons

GMF is the true definition of work hard, not smart. There are so many dumb engineers. There was a time I had to work with non-technical teams like prod support, and it was quite frustrating. They wanted my team to build an automation so they didn't have to work manually as if anything is possible and there is no limitation within the company. I didn't even create a backlog item as it was a waste of time.
