Pros

You'll get some useful experience. The medical benefits are better than average.

Cons

GJ gets their foot in the door with audits, but their ultimate goal is to have their clients rebuild their existing eDiscovery environment from ground up. Why? Because GJ will make a lot of money off the hardware purchased as they are a Dell re-seller. GJ has even went as far as to tell clients "we can't help you unless you let us rebuild the environment from the ground up". Most people would consider this recommendation a conflict of interest. Some would even say it sounds like something a con-artist would push. Real consultants improve existing infrastructure, people, and technologies. GJ easily cons non-technical people into thinking GJ's way hardware solution is the way and the only way. GJ has threatened to "walk" when clients wouldn't take their recommendations. If you enjoy feeling unethical, you'll enjoy working for GJ. If you sign the non-compete, it will be extremely hard for you to work anywhere else in the eDiscovery industry. GJ will not take on a new client until they sign a contract stating promising they CANNOT and will NOT hire former or current GJ employees. This isn't something most companies require to be signed. It is a red flag. In other words GJ will most likely be your last stop in the eDiscovery industry. You will most likely have to take a pay cut when you change industries as most of your eDiscovery related skills are going to be worthless to most employers.

Pros

GeorgeJon offers exposure to complex high-impact projects and the opportunity to work with a talented, intelligent team. There is strong trust placed in employees to take ownership of their work, and leadership encourages problem-solving, flexibility, and growth. It's a fantastic environment for people who are motivated, adaptable, and enjoy building improving processes! Highly recommend!!

Cons

As with many fast-moving organizations, priorities can shift quickly, which may feel challenging for those who prefer highly structured or static environments. Workloads can be demanding at times, particularly during periods of growth or change, and processes are still evolving in some areas. I like to look at that as exciting rather than intimidating!

Pros

- Compensation is good - Good health benefits - Some good people work there

Cons

- CEO is a bit all over the place. Good guy but sporadic and random - Bonus can be difficult and potentially unrealistic - No communication on if someone is let go/leaves - No plan for the future and what the company will do once the platform they support moves strictly to cloud
