      GE is full of great peope and treats its employees well. The company is known for developing the skills and leadership abilities of its people.

      Cons

      GE is losing out on the F136 contract to Pratt & Whitney so they are suffering at the moment. The saying at the company is "We hire the best and pay them average."

      -Easy internal transfers to learn new components of the engines -Good benefits and hybrid schedule -Ability to travel -Ability to move between engineering groups during downturns on projects

      Cons

      -High attrition and turn over rate for experienced engineers and managers due to company needs in different sections -Lack of access to mentors -Movement towards outsourcing of roles to out of country (USA) -Depending on role, you will be working extra hours and weekends to meet delivery
