Long hours and limited deal flow

None come to mind. Not a great personal experience.

In my personal opinion, it felt like junior staff wasn’t compensated properly for the high expectations set by seniors. Felt like there was no great way to resolve internal disputes. It felt like we were frequently understaffed. Projects generally had one associate, one VP, one MD. Personally, I found it difficult to execute at a high level without analyst support. VP’s were fine. Felt like they were too busy to really provide any real leverage from a project management standpoint.
