Pros

Good location. Decent pay and benefits.

Cons

They treat degreed salary employees like factory workers in that you have to punch a clock and you can't be one minute late (see reviews above). This horrible policy is a hold over from when the engineering division was part of Jefferson Industries where all the factory workers ruined it for everyone because of drug and alcohol abuse. "Everyone is the same" is their policy so the low life factory workers and their inability to get to work on time and not call in sick once a week forced HR to create a point system to "encourage" them to be on time, but this policy was applied to everyone in the company. Mind you G-NAC is an office building in Dublin but they carried over the same policy which is an insult to anyone who earned a college degree. It's on of the main reasons I left.

Pros

Excellent Health Benefits, that's all.

Cons

Extremely strict environment with many rules similar to a plant setting even though this is an R&D only office. Salary employees are expected to clock-in & out, you have a point system for attendance (which if you are 1 minute late you lose a point without forgiveness), you are not allowed to eat or drink anything but water at your desk, no music, and you are micromanaged 24/7 by upper management. Since the environment is so strict, it is hard for new employees to come into this and adapt - almost like you freedom is taken away and you are back under your parents supervision. You only get a 30 min lunch as well which forces you to pack every day and eat with your coworkers. They also limit the hours of vacation you can take at a time. For example, you have to take vacation in 2,4, or 8 hours but you can only take 2 hr vacations 4x a year. WIth all the rules, it's exhausting and makes for a tense work place.
