There are some great benefits, including the pay and the bonus for those who have an advanced degree. The school-wide systems are helpful for clear expectations across the board. No instructional days on Friday help with work/life balance.

There aren’t many opportunities here other than being a teacher. There isn’t any of the typical positions found in the district, like a reading interventionist/specialist position, a GATE program, etc. There is also no science curriculum in place.
