Pros

You learn what kind of company to stay far, far away from. Job can look decent on a resume. You get to learn about the real estate industry and that is helpful to everyone.

Cons

Company has ZERO respect for it's employees. They take advantage of young twenty year-olds or those in desperate need of a job so that they can get away with underpaying them. In the beginning they make promises about growth and potential in the company when it is clear within a month they don't expect anyone to be there long. Extremely high turnover rate. They bad mouth former employees in attempt to brainwash new ones and discourage relationships with anyone who leaves the company (even if it was on good terms). Upper management (or what is left of them after everyone jumped ship) has no idea how to run a company and believe that micro managing is the answer - because if the company is failing it couldn't possibly be management's fault... Company culture is you either worship their uneducated, unethical CEO who has no idea how to run a business and views every single person in the company as replaceable. Doesn't respect women in the workplace and makes inappropriate comments about their looks. He prefers to pay his employees as little as possible, with empty promises of "advancement and raises" with good performance, but avoids you at every turn when you try and talk about moving up in the company. When employees leave management forces the staff to lie about it so that the real estate agents don't know that people are leaving the company (this is because they lose employees left and right and are always "reshaping" the company). They will lie and make promises they cannot fulfill just to get new agent's to sign up with them. The only agents that are actually doing good get special treatment that NO ONE ELSE will get. Don't let that full you. If you are a real estate agent being pressured (and by pressured I mean harassed) to join Fusion stay far, far away.

Pros

This company is doing things that no other company I know is doing. They invest in small businesses, mostly real estate agents(think shark tank or the profit) and provide a ton of services and values to help them grow. I have been here for 3 years and from the start we had some rough patches, but over all the management and the company want to do great for their clients and their employees. We have had several people who had left the job after being here awhile earlier because they then had more opportunity due to what they learned and their experiences and the company applauds personal growth and achievement. The company always tries to promote from within. Every management position was awarded to someone within except one recently. I started here as a minimum wage employee and now I am running my own department and I earn a very healthy salary. I am very thankful for that. The company believes in serving others and its community and offers up to 8 hours paid time per quarter to volunteer for any cause you feel passionate about. I also appreciate those efforts.

Cons

The cons are this. The work environment is about getting things done and doing the best you can. You are held responsible for your work product and that sometimes is a little stressful. However our clients rely on us doing a good job so I understand it.

Pros

They have some great marketing ideas and plans - however, very rarely are they consistently carried out. Or if they are carried out, it is only for a couple of months. Their story letter and branding are great but now that they are taking it to the masses, it looses some of its uniqueness and marketing power.

Cons

I have been with Fusion as a Real Estate agent for over 3 years. At first, they did everything they promised, then one day it stopped without notice. When we asked about it, Fusion Management either ignored our concerns or simply pushed it back to the coach or worse yet, even blamed it on the coach. They come up with a new plan every 6 months or so - mostly because the CEO has no idea how to run a profitable business. They promise the moon and deliver very little. Super high turnover of office staff which is never communicated to the field. You never know who will be helping you or if anyone is there to help you with transactions, marketing, etc. The acting broker is off limits and does not/will not answer questions from agents. The office manager is rude and disrespectful - probably learned from the CEO. Even if she makes a mistake on your commission, you have to fight to get her to fix it. I thought this was going to be a great place to hang my license but unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed.
