      Pros

      I have a really good salary for being a special education teacher. It is higher than General Education teachers, which is very nice.

      Cons

      I do not appreciate the county mandating masks in the schools and shutting down schools back and forth. In person students keep going back to online and it becomes impossible to reach out to them. They are incentivizing students to do no work at all. But otherwise, I like the school I am at.

      You get a wide variety of schools to work with.

      Cons

      South Fulton and Alpharetta are really far away from the city center, and there can be a lot of favoritism in those areas. Paraprofessional pay is very low, and that can sometimes be the only thing that is available on Aesop. You may barely have a break to take your lunch - 30 mins or so.
