Pros
There are opportunities to move up in the company, if you’d like, work environment is great depending on what store you’re at, flexible hours & during the slow season there’s a lot of time to relax.
Cons
Customers are rude & entitled & corporate will always choose the customer over you. The pay sucks, the quotas that you have to meet are difficult especially during slow hours & you only get the commission if you meet those quotas AND its a small percentage so thats trash. You get a raise if you continue to level up in the company like if you do your training packets, you also get raises for every year that you work there, but you know how much the raise is? Literally .25 cents which is extremely wild. You will put in a lot of work for this job for a very small pay amount & they don’t care. Also if you’re part time you literally get no benefits besides sick pay, so vacation time, holiday pay, etc dont even think about it & you only get a full time position if you’re either a manager or assistant manager, so stylist get nothing.
