On the news today I heard that Dominos and Amazon have ramped up their hiring to better meet the needs of people who are out of work right now. Jobs will involve some additional social interaction which might be more of what you are looking for right now. Yes, with COVID-19 there is extra tension in the air at many companies. Here at FSNS we have a lot going on to ensure the food supply is safe getting into commerce. From an employee standpoint, we have stepped up our lab cleaning procedures and protocols, set high standards for hand washing, checking employee temperatures at all facilities, enhanced social distancing programs, eliminated visitors to our facilities, ended most travel, added more teleconferencing opportunities, put in new procedures and practices for our Couriers, monitoring employee personal travel, enhanced PPE – and a whole lot more! We do all this to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees, customers and vendors. Not to mention our role to keep the food supply safe!
