I am shocked and appalled that Food Safety Net Services is requiring their employees to write to Glassdoor and post fake and untrue reviews that express “how wonderful, amazing, and what a great place to work” it is here. The company has really gone down hill in just the past 3 years, and forcing us to write fake reviews is the icing on the cake. I am disappointed in FSNS would even come up with this idea rather than talking with their employees and actually solving the real problems that we face. They only care about turn around times and speed rather than details, accuracy, proper use of methods, and most importantly their employees health and happiness. We not allowed to leave from work until every single sample is finished, leaving myself and many others to pull 15 hour shifts straight every single night without a chance to take a lunch. Mistakes are always made and overlooked and much of management’s duties are brought down upon uncertified techs to do it. Samples oversit days longer than they’re required to be or are thrown away unknowing and the whole lab goes into panic. Instead of being honest with the client and making it up, fsns sweeps it under the rug and finds excuses to make it the client’s fault. The pay is a joke even with a full bachelors degree and benefits are all my paycheck pays for now. If FSNS is going to offer benefits, at least make up for it with higher pay. Whoever audits FSNS really needs to do their seriously and vigorously because we all wonder how the heck it is still up and running with so much of the shady, under the table things that happen. I just hope in the end they take everyone’s concerns seriously, actually take a step back, look at the big picture and details of its own faults, and change everything for the better of the employees, clients, and the consumer. But all FSNS cares for is the paycheck from the clients, so I don’t see change ever happening.
