Pros

i got out before i wasted any more time thats a pro

Cons

deceptive job postings that say entry level marketing event planner and sales it turns out you just are those annoying people at sams club selling junk. you would be better off working at mcdonalds you would make more money/work less hours. coworkers are like zombies reading scripts brian gives them. he tells themwhat to say. i worked 80 hours in a week driving hours every day to different sams meetings in the morning dinners after work. no benefits no vacation nothing. they all really think this company is going to make them rich and they are the select few with a good work ethic who can makeit thro the program. employees come and go. when people quit they say they werent strong enough to work sales. more like they werent stupid enough to stay at a company thats undeniably a scam

Focus Marketing Events Response

Focus Marketing Events always strives to improve the business in every way possible and takes reviews very seriously. Below are a few points we'd like to share in regards to this review: 1) Large corporations such as Sam's Club do their research on companies they partner with and do not allow unaccredited businesses to operate in their stores. In addition to this fact, we are both verified by the Fair Business Report and also accredited with the Better Business Bureau. 2) No employee of ours has ever worked 80 hours per week, and our open-door policy ensures any employee can discuss scheduling, vacation, bonuses and any other aspects of employment openly with management. While we are always grateful for reviews and feedback regarding our business, we do not take falsehood lightly. We pride ourselves on transparency during our three-round interview process in order to avoid confusion on what our business entails and what is expected of employees who are hired. I apologize for the inaccuracy of this review and thank you for allowing me to clarify directly. -Brian Richie, President

Pros

Since I have started with focus marketing I have moved up very quickly!!! My first week I applied all the information my trainer provided me and I got a promotion within two weeks, just like they said people do with the proper training tools. since then I have learned how to manage a team, interview, train, communicate with professionals and have traveled for training seminars. I always feel like I am accomplishing something new each day, and If you're not moving forward, you're not applying yourself, point blank. I absolutely love the people I work with, it's a very fun team environment. Management and coworkers always give you the tools to succeed and even go the extra mile on their own time to make me feel like an asset to the company. I always feel appreciated and that's why I love what I do with this company.

Cons

There are many different challenges and different people that I come in contact with, as well as different obstacles it all just depends on how I approach them. In this day of age we live in an instant gratification world, and success doesn't come over night but working with focus marketing events has pushed me out of my comfort zone in order to graduate through the program and set high standards for myself and I genuinely believe anyone with a strong work ethic, a good attitude and patience would very much successed with this company.
