If you find yourself with no other employment options, here are a few tips for surviving here: 1. Stay on the good side of upper management—perceived favoritism appears to go a long way. Notably if you befriend one or develop “relations” with one. 2. Keep your head down and avoid speaking up too much in meetings. 3. If management decides a mistake was made, it is often easier to accept culpability (whether at fault or not) than to expect a fair discussion of the facts. 4. Do not get comfortable. Continue applying to other jobs and maintain your exit plan. Training is minimal, structure is lacking both in the company and “leadership”. Prepare for a highly stressful work environment where being spoken to disrespectfully is not uncommon. Do not expect compensation to keep up with the increasing workload, this includes a raise. Additional responsibilities are frequently assigned. Despite frequent references to teamwork, the culture is more individualistic than collaborative. The company experiences OVERWHELMING high turnover. Employee satisfaction, retention and morale are not important to them. Many new hires appear to be young ladies, early in their careers, that are left to navigate a challenging environment with limited guidance. -Mandatory in office 4 Days. (Except management favorites) -No sick time -No 401k matching. -No FMLA -No Maternity/Paternity leave -No PTO. You qualify 1 week vacation after a year of employment -Only 6 paid Holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas) -Mandatory hour lunch. It automatically deducts from the days work $ -Read all low rating reviews, additional insight on how the company is still being run Best of luck to anyone considering the opportunity.
