Pros

If you want simple hardworking people to be around then its a good job for you, I guess

Cons

The environment reminds you of a startup yet its an established company with stores around the country. Worked on a disfunctional department (Indirect Procurement Team) with much turnover and unprofessionalism. What I was interviewed for and what my job role ended up being were vastly different yet I was given the brunt of the blame. I believe I was hired to fit a "DEI quota" and I was released once the DEI initiatives were dropped. The company also seems to be struggling financially, hence all of the drastic layoffs

Pros

It's difficult to get a pro about the store and the company.

Cons

Sales are down, yet management keeps pressure on selling - to who? You can't force customers to come in and buy. Perhaps management is more worried about their bonuses. They definitely aren't thinking about the sales people. And here it is - time for the annual so called "How are we doing survey". CEM's expect all employees to participate in this survey. Not going to happen. The real issues won't be addressed. Once management targets you - they are relentless. Favoritism is blatant. Speak up and you're definitely out. They cut hours - then customers don't get the service they deserve.
