Cons
Where do I begin? There is no path for growth, financially or otherwise. This company regularly asks GFIs to work off the clock, including teaching hours and cleaning duties. They hire the most absolutely ignorant people to run the show, including regional management. The turnover at local clubs is so high that it is difficult to build relationships or a cohesive team. They take absolutely atrocious care of equipment, allowing things to absolutely fall into disrepair before acting on it. They cut popular classes in an effort to increase profit. They treat experienced employees, who should be asked for guidance, as a nuisance. Avoid this place at all costs. After years of teaching, I was given a raise, but eventually taken off the schedule because they "couldn't afford" my hourly rate (which is not much more than most GFIs).
