You are just a slave/number to upper management. All they want is "more" No money ever gets invested into consultants or staff and you should count yourself lucky if you get a "hi 5" or "well done" There is no work life balance and mid management is essentually admin - they are not set up to even help you as a consultant - just to ask how many jobs you have on and how much you will bill that month... When you leave you are dead to the business - dont expect a good bye, or even a call to say thanks for your work, or even a message from HR.. once you quit you are dead to them, basically you are not a slave making them more money at this point.
