Pros

Large building with a lot of space Great coworkers - many get together and do things outside of work Relaxed atmosphere (most of the time) Free lunches and snacks No pressure to work more than 7 hours Vacation time never a problem, even encouraged Interesting and challenging work (building an entire ecosystem) Pinball, ping pong, corn hole and other games for breaks Fun events, retreats, and holiday parties They're good with raises and bonuses Devs are respected and listened to (most of the time) My experience here has been very good overall. In most respects, things have typically gotten better and better as we grow.

Cons

Amazon-esque principles have been prematurely applied to a small engineering team. Abuse of the term "ownership" and an unnatural push for autonomy have led to lack of convention and a disorganized backend that isn't ready to support an ecosystem.

Pros

- Everything people say about the games, free lunches (4 days a week), and snacks is true. - Engineers have the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup with a very flexible schedule. (But I love coming to the office every day—maybe -Finfare gives me enough passion to do that.) - The company is full of talented Backend and Frontend engineers from whom you can learn every day. - Hard work is recognized with promotions, raises, and bonuses. - Management has accepted and listened to direct and honest feedback without hard feelings, improving processes as a result. - HR has improved its processes to help employees feel comfortable sharing their feelings about their managers, the company, and any general processes, and is willing to act on that feedback, contributing to organizational growth. - Many great products are live, and more are being built. I have been with Finfare for almost two years and have gone through both good and hard times, but overall, it has been a great experience. Regarding job security at Finfare, I always apply the concept of working in a startup as, "If you are a very good partner or spouse, nobody wants to leave you." Believe me, just keep doing the right thing, and you will be rewarded.

Cons

Excessive documentation will lead to a slower development process and an increased maintenance burden.

Cons

Job security was uncertain due to regular layoffs. Employees faced layoffs despite strong performance and contributions.
