Pros
Flexible schedule, some friendly co-workers, decent pay, great credit union, some fun projects, very neat process and history of the plant.
Cons
High turnover rate, Couldn't trust upper management, HR and supervisors were always out to fire someone, current HR would walk around the building writing down who was in their office at what times and constantly talked behind your back, previous HR did not keep things confidential and broke the integrity policy, Managers were not involved in what their employees were working on, company was not updated into the 21st century, health insurance had a high deductible, a lot of overtime, no one knew what the priority was for the plant, way too many meetings with no time to be on the floor, when trying to solve issues nothing was approved (everything was always too expensive), ran the plant with no quality control (constantly sent junk to the customers), ran the plant with no engineering team, no morale, no incentives, very high safety incident rate, put money and effort into projects that were failing miserably, very dirty (only cleaned when big wigs were going to come in), ran trials repeatedly that we had already completed because they hoped for one good result so they could roll it out.
