Ethical dilemmas while employed here - Registered Nurse, BSN Family First Homecare Employee Review

Pros

Decent pay, immediate supervisors were attentive and helpful

Cons

Always short staffed and would get begged to pickup shifts beyond the already 60hrs/week that I worked and company/family would get upset that I said no! The parents run the show, not the doctors or the supervisory staff. Witnessed firsthand Medicaid fraud by parents/nurses which the company had knowledge of. After making a confidential complaint about my abusive patients, that was the end. I quit before I was the run who wound up in a bad spot.

Thank you for your feedback and for recognizing our supervisors and pay. We’re sorry to hear about your experience. We take concerns around staffing, workplace support, and compliance very seriously, and what you’ve described does not reflect our expectations. We encourage concerns to be reported so they can be properly reviewed, and retaliation is not tolerated. We appreciate your time with us and wish you the best moving forward.
