Pros
Employee owned, AVI Systems shares their profits with those working on the front lines both in paycheck bonuses and as contributions to the employee's retirement. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun while each day is a new challenge. Pay was competitive and I felt like my accomplishments were appreciated with pay increases. The company is expanding and growing, if you've never worked for an actively growing company, its a wonderful experience!
Cons
I felt that some install projects could've used just another hour of quality assurance and that our local project manager could've been more actively involved in ensuring the end product was ready for presentation to the customer with zero issues. What can be done to bring the workload on the project managers into a state where this is possible? I only left the company due to location.
