Excellent vacation and sick time offerings. Excellent health plans. Stable company who has recently shown a sincere interest in getting with todays corporate America offerings and truly making their employees happy for instance telecommuting.
Cons
Behind the times regarding telecommuting. At this time this is not an option. This is a very conservative company. Get the impression they want to monitor you all the time ie. not allowing work from home, insisting your Instant Messenger is always on when online, micromanaging by numerous managers. HR department has not been supportive of employees as much as they should be. The ridiculous comment "managers discretion" should be removed. That's the default for everything it seems. MAKE A DECISION HR that's YOUR job! Leaving it up to managers individually opens the issue of inconsistencies within groups.
