Pros

There are some of the most genuinely nice people I have met.

Cons

There are some very unrealistic expectations from the manufacturing side, and the pressure is tremendous. There was no support to someone who had to navigate the COVID world with school age children. Great place to work for anyone who doesn’t have a family to worry about or waiting for you at home.

Thank you for your feedback, we are happy to hear you are enjoying the people you are working with. FGF has various programs in place for all Team Members. For Canadian Team Members we have a partnership with Kids & Company for child care support services. Supporting our Team Members' mental health is of top priority to us. In addition to our EAP program we offered one on one private counselling support through a dedicated phycologist which may of our Team Members took advantage of.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Flexible hybrid work.

Cons

Constant layoffs. I was laid off 7 months after starting, while on a business trip in a Kroger parking lot, with no explanation given. Layoff process was pathetic, no communication and had to threaten a lawyer to receive my severance payout. American politics are often discussed by Canadian upper management. Foul, unprofessional language is frequently used. Very unprofessional, unstable work environment. I would recommend looking anywhere else for employment.
