Pay and benefits package - which admittedly, is good. There is actually nothing else that makes this job bearable.
Cons
The overwhelming sensation that you are just a small cog in a very large machine. Failure to recognise employee intelligence and offer internal promotion based upon this. Diabolical training system. Repetitive and uninteresting jobs. Out-of-date technology - computers, etc. Culture of bullying and harassment - this is promoted my the business management teams. A "one size fits all" management style that does not recognise an individual's needs or goals. Unsympathetic corporate policies. Anti trade union attitude from senior management. Health & safety - merely a lip service within this organisation.
