Pros

Some colleagues were genuinely friendly and helpful without any ulterior motive. Decent salary and bonus.

Cons

Department is big with many colleagues holding the same job position and reporting to the same boss. There are a couple of "Team Leaders" amongst the Customer Service Representatives. Naturally, this invites a toxic environment where people tend to try to get leverage over one another by playing politics. Most aren't happy with the Team Leaders as they believe they should be one, while the Team Leaders are generally unhelpful, fending off for themselves hoping that they stay in "power". There's only one Customer Service Manager who everyone reports to - so you can imagine this will ultimately mean lack of progression. Female dominant department with a lot of politics. Overall, the working culture is also poor. Everyone keeps to themselves when working. Not a lot of cohesion and teamwork involved - you will see cliques/groups too. One word: Toxic.

Pros

Pay is good, bonuses are low, benefits have decreased every year Lunch in cafeteria is great Shift relief time was good, had enough time after work to be with family We sure miss Bonnie out there , she’s great.

Cons

Micromanaging - Extreme lack of trust Overall morale for the whole site is way down starting from 2018 Bias Backstabbing Incompetency - certain employees promoted to next level without actually knowing or understanding the process No work life balance, we’re told that doesn’t apply to production workers. Overtime hours avg 400-700 hours a year No room for employee growth or thoughts on process productivity/troubleshooting acknowledged if you’re not in the clique 3-2-2-3 shift schedule swapping from nights to day each time led to overall fatigue. Needs to be 2 weeks of nights and 2 weeks of days. HR is an overall joke, they used to be superb until COVID and the new site manager. Preach safety but turn a blind eye when it’s convenient to reach production. Then fault the operators or maintenance personnel if something happens.
