Pros
When I heard about the game-changing tech Every* is building from a friend who works there, I left my job. I literally left my job!!! And hey, I'm so proud of doing that because the years that I've spent here are the most happening years of my life. Working with a team that's both helpful and hard-working doesn't just give me friends but colleagues and a mentor like John Wantz whom I've learned so much from. Plus the experience we had while having John Wantz as our leader was just ineffable. Along with a great experience working for the organization under John, I got so much, I mean I learned so much that I just can't define in words. As a pioneering startup in the personal data/cryptocurrency spaces, Every* had literally no competition in terms of quality. With a super clear mission of trying to protect and monetize personal data on behalf of consumers and to create a global online marketplace that would empower consumers to trade their personal data that too, at their discretion for financial reward with brands and different websites that require greater shopper insights to better serve their customers and develop more relevant products and services. What other than this could have motivated me or anybody else? Even it's one of the major reasons why I decided to join a company! Few reasons why I loved working in Every* under Wantz: • From the initial stage, the company was a bootstrap startup and absolutely everyone working there from Mike (Cleaner) to John, knows the consequences of working at such an Enterprise. • Working under John Wantz! His vision and passion for the company's mission inspired the whole team who are both directly or indirectly involved. • Communication. Not just John but the whole crew had this sense of equally shared passion and regular and transparent communication about the evolving state of the company. • The Tech that Every* is building is just phenomenal. • I got sick and was hospitalized for 4 months. Though the problems were physical but the stress of paying the hospital bills and my rent were making me mentally ill. It's then when John came to help me both financially and mentally. He paid the bills and gave me some leaves to cool things down in life. Seriously, apart from being a visionary, he's an angel. • And that's gonna be my last point. The Work/Life Balance! We used to go to the office and get fully energized and motivated by Wantz's words and then come home later in the evening with a subtle mind. Also, I can see this one comment who says that it's a scam and some really bad stuff about John like 'John Wantz appears to have been sued', 'John Wantz is currently facing legal action for "false pretenses, false representation, actual fraud"', 'John Wantz filed for bankruptcy in August 2017', etc.. Well, I so pity you, man, I mean just because some company or a startup couldn't compete with John, they use such tactics. Pay some guy to comment bad! I understand though. I mean people can these days do anything for money. So, all I can say is that along with one of the best times I have ever had, John's company gave me moments, friends and a mentor as 'John Wantz' himself and I'm gonna cherish and respect this all for my whole life!
Cons
If working hard can be categorized as a con, then yup, I really did work hard. But hey, it's not just me but the whole crew including John Wantz, we all worked really hard!
