Everyone handles taking direction differently, and not all management styles are identical. Everglades University is inclusive to all employees and treats everyone fairly. Management is highly experienced, otherwise we would not be as successful as our awards and recognition show. We wish you luck in your future endeavors and that you find a better match with management.

Pros

An institution that deeply cares about its students and its mission. The staff all care about their work and encourage each other to do better. I have had a great experience with my management team and find support from others in my role.

Cons

In any academic setting, there is stress and deadlines, but my staff has always been in my corner and supported me during high stress times.

Pros

The team of ACs typically get along well.

Cons

Probably the most toxic place I’ve ever experienced. As other reviews stated, this place is a revolving door. Everyone is anxious, it’s impossible to meet expectations and the threat of being written up or fired is now a huge factor.
