Pros

Flexible scheduling to accommodate for personal obligations.

Cons

Resources are missed used. The accountability for support staff lacks. The company is not Provider focused. Policies and procedures are not regulated for a seamless concept of promising practices. For example, communication amongst support staff, facilities, families, and patients have too many ways to access Providers. Majority of communication could be handled by trained educated support staff.

Pros

flexible schedule, gas card, insurance, patients are endearing to work with, very rewarding work

Cons

The facility assignments were not consistent in volume, making it difficult to make a living wage. The company took most of the medicare reimbursement and did not always value the contributions of the psychotherapist because the reimbursement levels were much lower than that of physical health payment codes. No real path for advancement.
