Pros
- beautiful decor - meet new people (the guests) - rewards for best sellers - adequate training - lunch during monthly team meetings - flexible schedule - great co-workers
Cons
- pressure to upsell -required to finish waxes within a particular time according to wax levels...which doesn't work so well if say..you get an extremely hairy guest, or stubborn hairs, or a highly sensitive guest who needs to take breaks, etc. - minimum wage. We depend on tips to make a decent living and MANY guest aren't aware of that. They assume gratuity is optional thinking we get a high percentage of their total bill.
