Pros
It's a job. New graduates can learn many skills and lab techniques useful in the industry. Amount of PTO is decent.
Cons
Low pay. Management likes to play the "blame game" and does not investigate laboratory issues appropriately to determine root cause. Overtime is required to compensate for the wasted time with slow and outdated computer systems, lack of laboratory glassware, equipment issues, and any unforeseen delays in projects outside of analyst control.
