Pros
WFH, so they can't literally stand behind u in a cubicle and micromanage. Some knowledgeable people in mid management.
Cons
No structure in any division. They will start off with a defined job role, then change it. Then they'll add small things, one thing at a time every 2 weeks so u don't notice your workload increasing. Then they'll complain and threaten. HRs don't care other than to wish happy birthday. Can't reach out for help. Salary is poor, work is 3 times that. U r good if you're available 24 hours, and if u draw the line, u r ungrateful or irresponsible, even if u diligently work for 9 hours straight and log out. No scope for social life, and if u do go out after work hours, they ask why are u always out. It felt like they owned us for merely 30-35k a month. Knowledge of a sport doesn't help coz they hire and put u in divisions that need writers or editors because the sport u know "is full" of writers and editors who don't know the sport. Editors make the articles so boring. They say be creative, then rip apart all scopes of creativity. Very discouraging environment. Social media division was the worst of them all. Dictatorship comes to mind. They even force to write good reviews.
