Pros

A free gym membership to the club.

Cons

Members pay a minimum of $250 a month for membership to the club and because of that, they feel as if they can get away with pretty much anything with zero judicial intervention. In the locker rooms, if there is even one slight thing members despise, they will yell at your face until they are satisfied. While working for Equinox, a member literally challenged me to a fight just because I told him that the club had closed and he couldn't take a shower after hours. Due to the mistreatment of the employees, there is also I high turnover rate because very few employees feel as if they have the strength and courage to remain at the club and continue to take the beating from the members. The turnover rate also puts a high cost on the company to where i saw they raised the minimum price of membership and the management at the location I was stationed at apparently requested for other locations to send them employees due to everyone quitting.

Spa Management is professional and tends to employees needs. Encourages growth within the company and career wise.

Cons

The General management is continuously changing so credit for past performance is lost.

Pros

Free Equinox membership. Easily one of the biggest perks. You get access to a premium gym that normally costs hundreds of dollars per month. Health and fitness environment. You're surrounded by people interested in wellness, and many coworkers are into fitness. Customer service experience. Great resume builder if you're moving into hospitality, sales, banking, or corporate roles. Professional atmosphere. Equinox expects a polished appearance and high-quality service, which can help build professionalism. Networking opportunities. Members often include business owners, executives, and professionals in West Palm Beach. Relatively straightforward work. Most duties include greeting members, answering phones, checking members in, updating accounts, and keeping the lobby organized.

Cons

Pay is relatively low compared to the expectations and cost of living in South Florida. Many employees cite compensation as a downside. Can't call out sick.
