Pros
- You work with smart people, and since everyone is mostly young, it is a good transition to the workplace when you're right out of college - The staring salary is decent - You get exposed to client work and you build very good communication/management skills. - Very good internal resources
Cons
- The work that you do for a client goes largely unnoticed. Bonuses and recognition are based mainly on internal work that you do for the company. - The work is stressful and most clients have some sort of crisis going on at any given time. - Madison, WI is not my idea of a cool, fun place to live in. - There is no clear promotion path. Yes, you can become a team leader, but it's not very structured. This can be good or bad, depending on how you view it of course.
