Pros

One of the best things about working at Enviro is the people. You'll get to work with good people who believe in their work. They are working hard to do good. If you put yourself out there and make what you want known, people will give you the work. The XM team also is great. They do good work and from what I've seen, bring in most of the company's money.

Cons

Unfortunately, a lot of those good people leave, and even the stalwarts have left recently. It casts a gloom over the whole office. There seems to be an inordinate amount of churn, even for this industry. Deadlines don't apply. They shift with alarming regularity and people have even come to expect it. This isn't fair to anyone. There seems to be a lack of trust both up and down. It makes it difficult for any mentorship opportunities and sometimes leads to treatment of employees that made me (an intern and outsider) uncomfortable.

Pros

If you've ever wanted to feel like part of a team, now is the time to join EnviroMedia! We are a small group of experts who pack a mighty punch when it comes to strategizing, developing and executing campaigns. Our team builds relationships through fun, innovation and trust. Additional perks include an on-site workout space, a fully-stocked kitchen (complete with brews and vino), the most lovable agency dog named Sancha and unparalleled flexibility to accommodate your personal life.

Cons

Like any office, you'll come across cons from time to time. As a group, we could work on sticking to scheduled meeting times and not going over without acknowledging the time crunch. Some people might also have issues with downtown traffic since our office is located on the fast-growing East Side of Austin. However, you'll never have a problem parking once you're down here since we have a designated full-sized parking lot right behind the building.
